Nursery
The play activities for 3- 4 year olds are more structured in preparation for school. Our curriculum is project based and is consistent with routines followed in local authority schools. All our learning is through play and is planned to encourage the children’s natural curiosity for the world about them. Our educational provision is inspected by Estyn, Her majesty´s Inspectorate for Education and Training in Wales. We seek to help children achieve their full potential in the six areas of learning: Language, Literacy and Communication Skills; Personal and Social Development; Mathematical Development; Knowledge and Understanding of the World; Physical Development; and Creative Development. We are passionate about play at every age and through play we develop the children´s knowledge, skills and understanding. Our recent inspection report can be viewed at the ESTYN website.
Mr Paul usually drives the minibus to collect the nursery children and take them to their other nursery classes. We link up with a number of local schools but our main pick-up area is Old Colwyn.
